The Chief Inspector in terms of section 27(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, (Act No. 85 of 1993), as amended, in terms of section 42(1) of the Act, and after consultation with the Advisory Council for Occupational Health and Safety has under section 44 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act No.85 of 1993), incorporated into the Driven Machinery Regulations, 2015, the National Code of Practice for the Training Providers of Lifting Machine Operators, 2024.
