The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, has in terms of sections 21(1)(b), 32, 53(o), 55, 56, and 57 of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 (Act No. 39 of 2004), given notice of his intention to amend the list of activities which result in atmospheric emissions which have or may have a significant detrimental effect on the environment, including health, social conditions, economic conditions, ecological conditions or cultural heritage, as published under Government Notice No. R.893, Government Gazette No. 37054 of 22 November 2013, as set out in the Schedule hereto.
Members of the public are invited to submit written representations or objections on the proposed amendments, within 30 (thirty) days from the date of the publication of this notice in the Government Gazette, or in a national newspaper, whichever date comes last.
