The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, in terms of section 23(1) read with section 29(1)(a) of the National Radioactive Waste Disposal Institute Act, 2008 (Act No. 53 of 2008), has published for public comment, the draft Regulations on the Format of the Application for a Radioactive Waste Disposal Certificate.
Interested persons and organisations are invited to submit, within 30 days of the date of publication of this Notice, written comments or representations on the proposed Regulations.
