The Minister of Finance, has in terms of section 77(5)(a) of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (Act No. 38 of 2001), given notice inviting written submissions from the public on the draft amendments to the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Control Regulations (“the draft Regulations”). The draft Regulations set out requirements for the sharing of information between accountable institutions.

Written submissions may be submitted to commentdraftlegislation@treasury.gov.za within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice.
