The Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition intends introducing the Companies First Amendment Bill, 2023 and the Companies Second Amendment Bill, 2023 in Parliament in August 2023, in terms of Rule 276(1)(b)(c) of the Rules of the National Assembly.
The Bills aim to address and clarify certain key pillars of company law, and to improve the ease of doing business in SA.
