The Chief Inspector of Mines, in terms of Section 49(6) read together with Sections 9(2) and 9(3) of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996), has issued the following guidelines as set out in the Schedule.

This guideline withdraws R.3733 of 2023 and comes into effect on 1 October 2023.
