The Compensation Commissioner has issued a notice in terms of section 6A(b) of the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act No. 130 of 1993, as amended, to inform beneficiaries of the Compensation Fund of the requirements for banking details in the payment of claims and claims related expenses.
As part of the Compensation Fund's effort to strengthen systems of internal control, the Fund will implement the Account Verification System (AVS) with effect from the date of publication of this Notice.
