The Chief Inspector of Mines, under section 49(6) of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996), and after consultation with the Council, has issued the guideline on the prevention, mitigation and management of COVID-19 outbreak in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act, as set out in the Schedule.
