The Information Regulator has given notice of the various dates of commencement of the Regulations issued in terms of Section 112(2) of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013, and has published Guidelines to Develop Codes of Conduct in terms of Section 65.
The guidelines serve as a practical guide that outlines minimum criteria and provides a framework to ensure that codes are evaluated in a standard manner.
