The Chief Inspector in terms of section 27(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85 of 1993, acting in terms of the powers vested in me by regulation 18(11) of the Driven Machinery Regulation, after consultation with the Advisory Council for Occupational Health And Safety hereby intends to publish the National Code of Practice for the Training Providers of Lifting Machine Operators for public comments for a period of 60 days.
