Disaster Management Act and Regulations (57/2002)

The Minister of Small Business Development, hereby, in terms of regulation 4(9) of the Regulations made under section 27(2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No. 57 of 2002), and published in Government Gazette No. 43258, Government Notice No. 480 of 29 April 2020, issue the Directions set out in the Schedule hereto in order to assist micro and small businesses trading in permitted services, to comply with the Regulations.

Notice In Terms Of Section 136 (1) Of The Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act No. 60 Of 2000)

By virtue of the powers vested in him by Section 136 (1) of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act No. 60 of 2000), the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, in his capacity as Registrar of Firearms as contemplated in Section 123 of the said Act, has given notice that the State intends to destroy all firearms, ammunition as well as firearms parts that were voluntarily surrendered to the State. For a list of firearms that were voluntarily surrendered to the State, interested parties can visit the South African Police Service's website at http://www.saps.gov.za
