The Minister of Health, has authorised under section 23 (1) of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972 (Act 54 of 1972), some local authorities to enforce sections 10 (3) (b), 11 and 24 of the said Act within their area of jurisdiction and through duly authorised officers.
