The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment has set out the date for the submission of the subsequent pollution prevention plans in terms of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 (Act No. 39 of 2004): National Pollution Prevention Plans Regulations as published in Government Notice No. R.712 in Government Gazette 40996 of 21 July 2017, and proposed a process to manage the carbon budgets for the period of 01 January 2021 to 31 December 2022.
