The Minister of Employment and Labour, has given notice that he intends, in terms of Section 43 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No. 85 of 1993), to make regulations in the schedule.
Electronic copies of the draft Regulations for Hazardous Biological Agents may be downloaded from the Department of Employment and Labour's webpage at www.labour.gov.za.
Interested persons who wish to comment on the draft regulations are invited to do so in writing within 90 days from the date of publication of this notice, in the prescribed format (see Annexure A).
All representations and comments must be sent to the Director-General of the Department of Employment and Labour.
