Guideline For The Compilation Of A Mandatory Code Of Practice For The Management Of Self-Contained Self-Rescuers In Mines

Mine Health and Safety Act and Regulations (29/1996)

The Chief Inspector of Mines, under section 49(6) of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996) and after consultation with the Council, has issued the guideline of a mandatory code of practice for the management of self-contained self-rescuers in mines in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act, as set out in the Schedule.

Effective: 1 July 2020
