The Minister of Environmental Affairs, hereby under section 28(1), read with section 31 of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008 (Act No. 59 of 2008), require the Paper & Packaging Industry, the Electrical and Electronic Industry and the Lighting Industry to prepare and submit industry waste management plans to the Minister for approval, as set out in the Schedule.
