The Minister of Mineral Resources, has in terms of section 100 (2) of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act , 2002 ( Act No. 28 of 2002), as amended, published the Reviewed Broad-Based Black-Economic Empowerment Charter for the South African Mining and Minerals Industry, 2016 (Reviewed Mining Charter, 2017) for implementation.
