The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, has in terms of section 24J of the National Environment Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), given notice of the publication of the National Guideline for the consideration of climate change implications in applications for environmental authorisations, atmospheric emission licenses and waste management licenses, as set out in the Schedule thereto.
This Notice contains a revised version of documents contained in Government Notice R.559 of Government Gazette No. 47761, and reflects the incorporation of amendments made, based on the first call for public comment.
Members of the public are invited to submit written representations or objections, within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette or in the newspaper, whichever is the later date.
